There are many different reasons to hold ceremonies. Families are coming to realise that rites of passage can be celebrated for -

  • This is your life
  • Special birthdays
  • Adoption
  • Fostering
  • Adolescence
  • House Blessings
  • Blended families
  • Engagement
  • Dedication ceremonies
  • Healing ceremonies -
    • After the loss of a loved one or after divorce or separation.
    • Pet dedication or funeral
    • Retrenchment
    • Retirement

All of these can be of great benefit to an individual, their circle of family and friends.

In her pursuit of excellence, Heather is passionate about working with people to create ceremonies that truly address their needs for that special celebration.

This can include rituals and cultural symbols, unity candle, rose ceremony, sand ceremony, hand fasting or lover’s knot, water ceremony, earth ceremony, butterfly or dove release, Jewish traditional breaking of the bottle, hands of the bride and groom, parent's blessing or children from a previous marriage.
